Waterford Place Naming Opportunities

Naming rights are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Gifts can be paid in full or pledged over a five-year period. Custom naming plates will be created to honor the donor or their loved one. Please inquire about naming rights availability.

Meditation Garden, Gift of $250,000
With its simple technique and thoughtful design, the Meditative Garden is a space of healing for anyone seeking solitude and serenity.  The Garden is a thoughtfully created environment that provides a variety of sensory experiences, and natural flora and fauna to help facilitate connection to something outside the body — a sensory connection to nature invites awareness of an environment bigger than “the diagnosis,” which can help regain a sense of perspective.

Multi-Purpose Room, Gift of $100,000
The 1,000+ square foot large group activity room provides the community with access to a variety of therapeutic, exercise and educational programs. This learning space includes the latest in audio/visual technology, allowing us to broaden our reach and increase our impact on the cancer community through interactive and distance learning.

Meeting Room, Gift of $50,000
The 450 square foot small group activity room provides a more intimate, small group setting for a variety of educational programs. This learning space includes the latest in audio/visual technology, allowing us to broaden our reach and increase our impact on the cancer community through interactive and distance learning.

Multi-Purpose Art & Music Therapy Space, Gift of $50,000
This multi-purpose room provides a dedicated space for the therapeutic use of art and music. Through creating art and music and reflecting on the products and processes, people can increase awareness of self and others; cope with symptoms, stress, and traumatic experiences; enhance cognitive abilities; enjoy the life-affirming pleasures of making art.

Children’s Program Area, Gift of $35,000
Families and youth have their own special needs when impacted by cancer. To support them, Rush Copley has developed a dedicated children’s area, which offers not only a place for children to spend time while visiting the center, but also developmentally appropriate resources, cancer education, workshops, support groups, individual and family counseling and specialty programs. This space is dedicated to the unique needs of families and youth and is equipped to offer clients a variety of counseling modalities above and beyond traditional talk therapies including art, sand, and play.

The Salon/Spa and Meditative Rooms, Gift of $75,000 or
The Salon (1) and Private Meditative Rooms (4), Gifts of $15,000 each
Waterford Place features a salon/spa designed with the express purpose of providing free therapeutic services. These spa services are designed to alleviate painful side effects, provide relaxation to enhance traditional treatments and give cancer patients a self-esteem boost!  Services include massages, acupuncture, reflexology, cosmetology, wig fittings/services, etc. 

The Private Meditative Rooms within the salon also provide both comfort and privacy for our guests and families to spend time in private conversation or contemplation, visit with one of our cancer resource specialists for things such as wig fittings and individualized referrals.

Lending Library, Gift of $10,000
The Lending Library consists of books, DVDs and periodicals related to cancer care, integrative medicine, cancer support resources and many other topics of interest to cancer patients, survivors, caregivers and families.
