Watch to learn about our experts and heart care services.

Heart Disease is the leading cause of death in the US for both men and women. In fact, up to 35 percent of people who experience a heart attack have no previous symptoms. That's why prevention and early detection are the best ways to reduce risks associated with heart disease.

64-slice CT Technology

Using state-of-the-art 64-slice CT scanning technology has redefined our accuracy and clarity of images. This advanced imaging technology produces precise diagnostic pictures within 5 to 10 seconds. The thousands of images created with the scanner can be combined to form a 3D view of the patient's anatomy, allowing physicians to see images with more clarity and specificity which leads to improved clinical diagnosis. The scanner has numerous advantages, including:

  • Shorter exam times
  • Single-breath holds for scanning
  • More rapid results to facilitate the treatment process
  • A safe alternative to invasive diagnostic procedures

AED Community Program

Sudden cardiac arrest can strike anyone regardless of age - anywhere and at anytime. Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) play an important role in the chain of survival for sudden cardiac arrest victims.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a person experiencing sudden cardiac arrest is two to three times more likely to survive if an AED is used before emergency medical services personnel arrives.

This program teaches the importance of AEDs in the community and proper use of AED equipment through hands-on demonstration. It is intended for individuals not seeking certification.

To learn more about this program or to schedule it for your organization, group or school, please contact Susan Hines, Community Relations Coordinator, at
