Learning Objectives — At the conclusion of this course participants will be able to:

  • identify updates in cardiovascular medicine including new data on patent foramen ovale closure
  • discuss adult congenital heart disease management in pregnancy
  • identify updates in hypertension and new goals for treatment
  • review the impact nutrition has in reversal and prevention of cardiovascular disease
  • describe adjunctive treatment to support cardiovascular systems
  • discuss minimally invasive options to manage thoracic aneurysms - thoracic endovascular aortic repair
  • discuss treating obstructive sleep apnea and impact on cardiovascular health
  • discuss extracorporeal membrane oxygenation treatment in obstructive sleep apnea patients
  • review venous insufficiency, endovenous laser ablation and thoracic endovascular aortic repair.

Attendees can access and print their CME transcripts via Rush University’s CE Tracker software. Instructions are below:

· Click Sign in.
· Complete the account verification process.
· If account is found, use that account (this could be applicable for Rush graduates or Rush employees who are on staff at Rush Copley).
· If no account is found proceed to the next step.
· Complete online registration profile.
· Enter the date range for the time period that you wish to see your transcript.
· A pdf document will open listing credits for that date range.
· You can change your password in the My Profile tab.

Refund/Cancellation Policy: A 50% refund will be returned if cancellation is
