RUSH COPLEY HEALTHPLEX CLOSING

At Rush Copley Healthplex, the health and safety of our members, guests and staff is our top priority. We are actively monitoring developments related to coronavirus (COVID-19) with information and guidance from the Centers for Disease Control, Kane County Health Department and Rush Copley Medical Center.

For the health and safety of our members and guests, Rush Copley Healthplex Fitness Center will be closed until further notice effective 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17.

March member dues will be prorated and credited to the next billing cycle. For annual members, your expiration date will be extended for the same number of days for which we are closed. Existing classes/programs will be prorated accordingly and credited or refunded.

Making Fitness Fun

While other fitness clubs may have a designated children’s area staffed with someone to keep an eye on your kids while you work out, Rush Copley Healthplex offers so much more. Our kids programs are filled with fun activities that promote health and wellness for children of all ages. Fit Club is a program designed for 11 to 15 year olds. Kids Active Club is a one-of-a-kind activity-based program for Members ages 3-12 that focuses on motivation, health and personal achievement. We also offer childcare for your little ones under the age of 3. Whatever your child’s age, they’ll have fun while meeting new friends and staying active.

Fit Club

Fit Club is an educational, innovative and challenging program designed for 11 to 15 year olds. The program focuses on cardio, agility, strength and endurance through a variety of fun activities. Fit Club is perfect for sports conditioning or a great workout. Fit Club Member Policies

Days Off of School Camp

Youth Speed and Agility Training
This class will focus on developing speed and agility through a series of intense workouts. Participates will earn to isolate and strengthen core muscles used in running, cutting and juking that gives athletes a competitive edge.

Kids Night Out
Fridays from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at Rush Copley come alive with our Kids Night Out program. Children 4 and older will rock climb, swim, play games, watch movies, make arts & crafts, and eat pizza and snacks with their friends. Call 630-978-6280 to register. Members $20/person. Non-members $30/person. Day of registration/$25 late fee per person will be applied if spots are still available.

Childcare
Rush Copley Healthplex offers supervised childcare for children ages 6 weeks to 3 years. Reservations are required at least 24 hours in advance. Please call 630-978-6755. Childcare Orientation

Kids Active Club and Childcare

Kids Active Club is a fully supervised 12,000 sq. ft. facility that features complimentary classes for members ages 3-12. Your child will be engaged in a large variety of activities and learn healthy concepts along the way, such as fundamental movement, sport skills, physical fitness, dance, aquatics and fair sportsmanship.

Youth Programs

Rush Copley Healthplex is excited to offer new youth programming. To register, call 630-978-6280 or stop by the registration desk.

Basketball I
This fun filled program is great for kids learning about the basics of the game of basketball. Kids will be learning through various drills and games. We will be teaching fundamentals of basketball like passing, dribbling, shooting and rebounding while working on listening skills and sportsmanship. The co-ed program is for beginners or kids looking to improve their skills.

Soccer I
This program is designed to teach children ages 4-9 years old the basics of soccer in a fun and exciting way. Dribbling, passing and shooting will be covered through games that keep everyone moving. This class is great for coordination and self-esteem.

Pre-Ballet
Pre-Ballet begins with a circle warm-up that may include sing-along songs or rhymes to keep young dancers engaged. Students will work on strong arms, stretching their toes, balancing, twirling, jumping and basic ballet positions. Ballet shoes are required.

Ballet I
Ballet I is a beginning class that will focus on alignment and proper technique. If your child wants to learn ballet, this is the class for them. Ballet shoes are required.

Basic Drawing
Learn the fundamentals of composition and drawing including charcoal and pencil techniques. Supplies included.

Basic Painting
T
his class will introduce simple skill techniques of acrylic and watercolor painting through fun projects. The projects will include basic color theory and the instructor will show step-by-step techniques and demonstrations. Supplies included.

Rock Climbing Wall
Come climb on the Rush Copley Healthplex rock climbing wall with our certified bilayers.
