Personal Training at Rush Copley Healthplex

There really is no better way to get in shape--and to stay that way--than to work with your own personal fitness trainer. At Rush Copley Healthplex, our degreed and certified personal trainers will work closely with you to create an exercise program designed to help you maximize your efforts in reaching your own specific fitness goals. With their one-on-one attention and guidance, you’ll benefit from the added motivation you wouldn’t otherwise have working out on your own.

Personal Training sessions are available in individual settings and can be purchased individually or as a package.

On Your First Day

On the day of your first appointment, wear comfortable workout clothes and meet your Personal Trainer at the Fitness Desk on the Fitness Floor.

Your trainer will help you increase your cardiovascular fitness, increase your flexibility and strength, and improve your quality of life.

Jennifer Crowe, Master Personal Trainer

Jennifer is an A.C.S.M. Certified Personal Trainer with additional background in Medical Laboratory Science, including Immunology and Allergy Research at Northwestern University Medical School in Chicago, Illinois. Her specialties include bodybuilding, nutrition and weight management, sport specific conditioning for all ages, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility and balance, and cardiovascular training. Jennifer will design an individualized program taking into account your specific needs and goals.

Wil Davis, Personal Trainer

N.E.S.T.A. Certified Personal Trainer.  Wil is highly motivating, energetic, and driven to see results. 
With 17 Years experience in the fitness industry, his specialties include strength for all ages, weight loss, sports conditioning, contest preparation and total body toning.   Whatever your fitness and lifestyle goals are, Wil can help you achieve them!

Carrie Holleran, Master Personal Trainer

A.C.S.M. Certified Personal Trainer. Carrie has a bachelors degree in Health Studies from Eastern Illinois University with a minor in psychology. Among her specialties are strength training, flexibility, core strength and lifestyle education.  Carrie also has experience working with older adults and seniors.  Her focus is on designing well rounded, practical and efficient programs that fit each client.

Carrie Long, Manager of Fitness Systems and Personal Trainer

ISSA Certified Personal Trainer. Carrie specializes in rehabilitation and weight management including nutrition, strength, flexibility and cardiovascular training. Because of her experience in competitive golf and tennis, she understands first hand the importance of fitness for long term participation at any level of activity.

ISSA/NESTA Certified Personal Trainer. Godwin is a former track and field athlete. His area of expertise includes body building, overall toning, speed development and weight management for all ages. After assessing your goals, he will customize your workout to maximize your body’s full potential.

ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, Aquatic Exercise Association Certified, Arthritis Association Certified, Delay the Disease Certification (Leading Parkinson’s Program). Specialties include aquatic fitness, functional mobility, special populations, low impact training, Parkinson's and movement disorders. Diana has over 10 years experience working with a wide variety of clients.  She understands the importance of training in different modalities.  Diana provides a full body diverse workout that challenges the body and engages the mind. She is passionate about providing safe, effective workouts.

Doug Petty, Master Personal Trainer

A.F.A.A. Certified Personal Trainer. Boxing coach. Doug focuses on boxing fundamentals and technique, real boxing drills used by boxing champions, functional exercises to build strength, and self-defense strategies and tactics. "I believe that anyone, regardless of their age, size, shape or current fitness level, can reach and exceed their fitness goals with inspiration and commitment.”

Kathy is energetic and motivated to help her clients reach their fitness goals. She is an avid runner and cyclist who enjoys being outdoors. She will design a program best suited for her client to live a healthy lifestyle.

Peter Staunton, Personal Trainer

NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Specialties include weight loss, resistance training, cardiovascular endurance, agility and reaction training, sports performance enhancement, flexibility and mobility training. Peter believes in the power of exercise to positively transform a person’s mind as well as their body. He is able to assist people in their journey to a healthier life by putting together specialized training programs while also guiding individuals to a more nutritious diet.

An advanced level of personal training is the elite Kinesis Training. Designed to improve your overall quality of life, it involves fluid, three-dimensional movements that activate a wider range of muscles. You’ll train in a comfortable private studio to heighten awareness of movements, acquire correct posture, and achieve full harmony of body and mind. Kinesis Training enhances the benefits of classic exercises such as Yoga and Pilates, as well as sports-specific and post-rehabilitation training.

Pilates Studio

Pilates is a low-impact approach to exercise that refreshes the mind and improves your core strength and stability, while providing better posture and flexibility..  In addition to soothing aching joints and repairing injuries within the musculoskeletal system, it corrects misalignment.  "Quality not quantity" is the creed that flows with the thread work of Pilates' standardized methods.
