Rush Copley Healthplex Aquatics

When you experience two luxurious pools and over 30 classes per week, you’ll understand why the Rush Copley Healthplex Aquatics program has won national awards for outstanding programming and service. From our high intensity classes, H2O Combo, Master Swim and Zumba to Pilates and Yoga in the pool, there’s a class for anyone looking for an exhilarating workout. In the warm water therapy pool, the classes can relieve arthritis pain and increase joint mobility. The refreshing lap pool helps those who have multiple sclerosis increase muscle control. Of our 30+ classes, many are medically-based and included with your membership. Our certified staff, wide variety of classes and beautiful pools offer a refreshing experience for people of all ages.

Adult Aquatic Programs

Lifeguard Certification and Recertification
This course through American Red Cross will train you to become a certified lifeguard. Class is also available for those who are already certified and need to recertify. Registration Information

Aquatic Group Exercise
The Healthplex offers Aquatic Group Exercise classes for members in the Lap Pool and Therapy Pool (warm water).

Specialty Group Exercise
Jump in for a total body workout with our Wet Walkers or Master Swim classes; or, if you're looking for soothing therapy, try our Arthritis Plus class in the warm therapy pool or Healing Aquatic Movement in the refreshing lap pool. There are over 30 aquatic classes offered weekly and all classes are free for Healthplex members. Non-members may participate in Adult Specialty Classes for a fee.

Master Swim
Build endurance and refine stroke mechanics. Learn new ways to train in water. Group training for multiple skill levels. Opportunities for competition.
Class Information

Adult Learn to Swim Lessons
This class will work with each swimmer at their skill level. Beginner swimmers will learn the basic skills of floating, airway control and move towards performing the skills independently. As swimmers progress towards more
advanced skills they will learn to coordinate the front crawl with rotary breathing and back crawl strokes. This class will be tailored to meet your needs.

Tuesday and Thursday

1:30-5:30 p.m.

Members may bring their Non-Member children or grandchildren under 18 years of age for $5.00 per child. Children 2 and under are free if the parent is a member.

Members may bring in guests to swim. The fees are $5 for children 12 and under and $15 for 13 years and older. Parents of children who are Members may attend Family Swim for a Member Guest Fee of $15 per adult.

Children under the age of 13 may only use the pool during Family Swim when accompanied by parent/guardian or while participating in an organized Healthplex program. Youth ages 11-15 may use the pool during designated times after completion of the Fit Club Orientation.
