Our skilled staff of clinical and surgery center nurses are well educated in the principles of patient care and communication, and are committed to excellence in caring for our patients. Most have been with Castle Orthopaedics for 5-10 years, and in many cases, 15 years or more. We are proud of the fact that we have very little turnover in our nursing staff. Before coming to us, most of our nurses have had extensive experience in inpatient and surgical patient care in a hospital setting, and many are certified by the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses.
We strive to provide excellence and continuity in patient care and communication. Each of our nurses works primarily with one of our orthopaedic physicians, both in the office and as a first assistant in the operating room. Our patients get to know their doctor's nurse, and find that this relationship positively facilitates their access and communication with their physician. Our nursing staff is committed to caring for each of our patients with the utmost expertise and compassion, and are more than willing to listen to their concerns. They strive to provide the "human touch" that is essential for recovery and overall good health.
