Rush Copley’s Physical Rehabilitation Program Recognized by Newsweek
Aurora, IL – Rush Copley’s Physical Rehabilitation Center is listed among the Best Physical Rehabilitation Centers for 2020 as determined by Newsweek.
Newsweek’s inaugural list highlights the nation’s top physical rehabilitation facilities based on quality of care, quality of service, quality of follow-up care and accommodation and amenities. This award is presented by Newsweek and Statista Inc., the leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider.

Rush Copley offers both inpatient and outpatient physical rehabilitation. The inpatient center with its therapy gym is designed to maximize patients’ potential as they return to independence, offering true-to-life features including an automobile to replicate daily activities. The center also uses virtual reality augmented therapy systems for individuals with physical limitations; cognitive software that provides exercises to enhance attention, reasoning memory, listening skills and cognitive processing speed; and VitalStim therapy for swallowing dysfunction which uses electrical stimulation to aid in muscle strengthening to improve swallowing.
The outpatient physical rehabilitation center provides physical therapy to address strength, balance and limited motion; concussion management; computerized dynamic posturography to assess and treat patients experiencing balance dysfunction or dizziness; vestibular rehabilitation to treat dizziness, vertigo and balance difficulties; LSVT BIG training for patients with Parkinson’s disease; sports therapy; spine rehabilitation; and more.
Rush Copley’s physical rehabilitation program is accredited by the Commission for Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, which establishes nationally recognized standards of quality.
The Best Physical Rehabilitation Centers 2020 ranking lists the best facilities in the 20 states with the most facilities according to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, or CMS. Newsweek and Statista designed a rigorous methodology that provided a score of every evaluated rehabilitation center. The scores were based on the reputation survey conducted by Newsweek and Statista and the accreditation score based on CMS data.
