Rush Copley Announces New VP of Rush Copley Foundation
(Aurora, Ill.) Rush Copley is pleased to announce Alex Pope, CFRE, the new Vice President, Foundation and Chief Development Officer.
Alex Pope brings more than 20 years of experience as a development officer to Rush-Copley. He previously served as executive development officer, operations, at Advocate Charitable Foundation, the fundraising arm of Advocate Health Care. With a diverse background in major gift work, Alex also has expertise in volunteer board management, direct marketing, workforce giving, special events, planned giving and advancement services. Alex has worked at the national level for associations and organizations including the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Earthwatch Institute, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Alex has served on the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Chicago Chapter, Board of Directors since 2007, including as president in 2010. He is an accomplished educator and speaker on fundraising and volunteer leadership. Alex is a graduate of Northern Illinois University. He resides in Naperville with his wife and four children.
