Community Health Needs Assessment Reports
Every three years, Rush Copley Medical Center completes a comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment process to identify, prioritize, and develop strategies to address the top health issues in the community. During this process, the hospital takes into account input from a number of people representing the broad interests of the community served. This is accomplished through collaborations with the Kane County and Kendall County Health Departments, community focus groups, a community health survey, and additional community input and feedback regarding published and draft assessments and strategies.
The current top health needs identified in the community include:
· Chronic disease prevention and management with a focus on diabetes
· Access to care with a focus on medication access
The hospital is focusing on implementing strategies to improve these areas of health and wellness in the community.
The reports are available below to view and print.
