AED Community Program

Sudden cardiac arrest can strike anyone regardless of age - anywhere and at anytime. Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) play an important role in the chain of survival for sudden cardiac arrest victims.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, a person experiencing sudden cardiac arrest is two to three times more likely to survive if an AED is used before emergency medical services personnel arrives.

This program teaches the importance of AEDs in the community and proper use of AED equipment through hands-on demonstration. It is intended for individuals not seeking certification.

To learn more about this program or to schedule it for your organization, group or school, please contact Susan Hines, Community Relations Coordinator, at susan.hines@rushcopley.com.
