Lung Cancer Screening

Electroneurodiagnostic Laboratory (END Lab)

Open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and every other Saturday from 7 a.m. to noon, the END lab offers patients of all ages the following diagnostic screenings: 

  • inpatient and outpatient electroencephalogram (EEG)
  • 24, 48, and 72 hour Ambulatory EEGs
  • Visual Evoked Potentials (VEP) - evaluates the visual pathways in the brain 
  • Somatosensory Evoked Potentials (SSEP) - shows the electrical signals of sensation going from the body to the brain. The signals show whether the nerves that connect the spinal cord are able to send and receive sensory information like pain, temperature and touch.
  • Brain Stem Auditory Evoked Response (BAER)

Free Screenings

Blood Glucose Screening - Aurora
Free blood sugar screenings are available from 8 to 10 a.m. every Thursday on a first come, first served basis.  Screenings are provided at the Diabetes Education Center.

Blood Glucose Screening - Yorkville
Free blood sugar screenings are available at the Beecher Community Center from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on the third Friday of each month, first come first served.  Please be sure to FAST for at least 8 hours prior to the test. Provided by the Diabetes Education Center.

Blood Pressure Screening
Get your blood pressure checked for free at Rush-Copley Heart & Vascular Institute Cardiac Rehabilitation Center every Tuesday from 9 a.m. to noon.
