Seasonal Flu

An annual seasonal flu vaccine is the best way to reduce the chances that you will get seasonal flu and lessen the chance that you will spread it to others.  The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices which advises the Centers for Disease Control recommends annual flu shots for everyone age 6 months and older.

The seasonal flu vaccine for both adults and children is now available in our offices for our established patients. This vaccine includes protection against three flu viruses, an H3N2 virus, an influenza B virus and the H1N1 virus.

We also have Fluzone High-Dose influenza vaccine for patients 65 years of age or older. This vaccine was created with a higher dose of antigen in order to give older people (65 years of age or older) a better immune response and therefore better protection against flu.

To find out more information about the seasonal flu shot including who should be vaccinated, visit Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Contact your physician's office to schedule your appointment today!

For your convenience we have attached the Influenza Vaccine Consent Form, please fill the form out and bring it with you to your appointment.

Availability of the flu vaccine is subject to change.
