Dr. Rawlins Elected President of AAB Board

Richard Rawlins, PhD, HCLD/ELD, has been elected 2006-2007 president of the American Association of Bioanalysts(AAB) . The AAB is a certifying board for clinical laboratory directors, consultants and supervisors of clinical laboratories. The AAB is committed to the pursuit of excellence in clinical laboratory management by enhancing the professional skills of each of its members; promoting more efficient and productive operations; and representing the interests of its members.

The ABB provides a broad range of services, including representation before federal and state legislative and regulatory agencies, educational programs and publications. AAB's Proficency Testing Services is approved under the federal CLIA regulations and is one of the largest PT providers in the United States. Dr. Rawlins has been a member for the last 12 years.
