Patient Services at CRH
Whether infertility is caused by a male or a female problem, or both, our first step is always to make a diagnosis and promptly explain the cause of infertility. This meticulous search for answers is why unexplained infertility occurs in less than five percent of the couples who seek our help.
We also specialize in fertilization, insemination, endometriosis, operative laparoscopy and microsurgery.
Nearly two-thirds of our patients can be treated for infertility with less-invasive forms of treatment such as timing of ovulation and insemination.
Medications treat hormonal imbalances and some forms of male-factor infertility. Other forms of male-factor infertility, as well as female tubal abnormalities, pelvic adhesions and endometriosis can be treated surgically.
For patients not responding to the above approaches, assisted reproductive technology offers a good chance for conception. This encompasses such techniques as invitro fertilization, tubal embryo transfer, embryo transfer, gamete intrafallopian transfer and zygote intrafallopian transfer.
Rush-Copley Center for Reproductive Health also offers treatment of hormonal disorders, endometriosis and uterine fibroids.
