We have the Shingles Vaccine
Nearly all adults in the U.S. have had chickenpox and thus are at risk for zoster (shingles). Shingles can be a painful condition with potentially severe complications. The incidence and severity of shingles increases with age.
Zostavax, the shingles vaccine, has been shown to significantly reduce the risk of developing shingles. It is indicated for individuals 60 years of age and older. It is indicated for prevention, not treatment of shingles.
Patients can now receive the shingles vaccine, Zostavax at our office upon request. When calling to make your appointment, please let us know you are interested in having the vaccine at your next visit.
