Why did you choose nursing as a career?

I chose nursing because I enjoy the patient contact, fast paced environment and the broadness of options as a career.

The people at Rush-Copley make nursing such a special experience.  Everyone is so friendly and a pleasure to work with.

What's the greatest challenge nurses face today?

The greatest challenge nurses face today is the lack of personal time we get to share with our patients.

What is your favorite aspect of nursing?

My favorite aspect of nursing is making a difference in my patient's lives.  There is nothing better than being told, "I'm feeling so much better because of you."

Is there a moment in your service at Rush-Copley that stands out in your mind?

One moment that stands out for me is when I received the Risk Management Hero of the year award.
