The Dunham Nursing Scholarship—Advancing Nursing in Aurora
The Dunham Nursing Scholarship—Advancing Nursing in Aurora was designed to support nursing scholarships for qualified applicants over a two-year period. This project has expanded healthcare education at all levels for exceptionally promising nurses, and offer local opportunities for nursing scholars to practice in diverse community settings as professional care providers for many years.
The scholarship program was funded by a $750,000 grant from the Dunham Fund that honors the legacy of John C. Dunham and supports organizations that work to make the world a safer and more comfortable place for mankind to live and prosper, giving special consideration to Aurora-area organizations engaged in providing education, and to organizations engaged in assisting individuals to attain heights they may not have attained with the benefit of assistance.
