Lactation Center

Inpatient Services

Our Lactation Center is staffed 7 days a week by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLC).  The Lactation Consultants (LC's) are available for breast feeding assistance and education.  We take pride in our breast feeding rate averaging over 95%: that's much higher than the National Average!  Breastpumps are provided to all breastfeeding mothers in the hospital. 

Outpatient Services

Outpatients are seen in our new Lactation Center fully equipped with a fold-out bed, rocking chair, electronic breastpump, and baby scale.  The Center was designed to offer the same comfort and privacy of your own home.  During this important transition home, offering support and success with breastfeeding is our top priority.  Free weight checks and telephone consultation are also available on a daily basis. 

Rentals

Our Center is equipped to rent and sell breast feeding products and breastpumps. The Lactation Center can be reached by calling 630-978-6235.
