Nearly 25 to 35 percent of people who experience a heart attack have no previous symptoms. This scan provides a score that represents calcium build-up in the coronary arteries using a 64-slice CT scanner. The screening costs $99.

Vascular Screenings

Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD) is a common circulation problem in which the arteries that carry blood to the legs or arms become narrowed or clogged. PVD affects 10 million people, but 2.5 million of those are not diagnosed. Symptoms include:

  1. Leg/hip pain during walking that stops when you rest
  2. Numbness, tingling or weakness in the legs
  3. Burning or aching pain in feet or toes when resting
  4. Sore on leg or foot that won’t heal
  5. Cold legs or feet
  6. Color change in skin of legs or feet
  7. Loss of hair on legs

A complete screening, including Neck Ultrasound, Abdominal Ultrasound and Ankle-Brachial Index, will identify if you have vascular disease. The cost of each individual screening is $35 or 3/$105.
