At Rush-Copley, breast health is more than mammograms. It's more than educational programs. At the Center for Breast Health, women find hope, guidance and answers at whatever stage of breast health they're in—from breastfeeding to a first mammogram to a suspicious finding such as a lump to fibrocystic breast disease. Pinpointing Disease Using Advanced Diagnostics

When it comes to a breast abnormality, you want more than a mammogram. You want assurance that your diagnosis is a precise as possible so that appropriate treatment can begin quickly. For example, Rush-Copley has highly skilled, fellowship-trained radiologists to provide even more peace-of-mind that diagnoses are accurate.

Diagnostic radiology:  Diagnostic mammography, Breast ultrasound, Breast MRI, CT and PET imaging

Stereotactic biopsy:  this minimally invasive technique uses computer-generated images to locate breast abnormalities and more accurately pinpoint the area to be biopsied

Sentinel Lymph Node biopsy:  this technique allows the surgeon to minimize the extent of underarm lymph node removal necessary to diagnose and stage breast cancer.
