CVT Surgeon

Established hospital owned multi-specialty group seeks BC/BE CVT Surgeon to join a high-volume and growing practice.  Looking for an outgoing and motivated candidate with excellent surgical skills and top-notch communication skills.  Candidate will be committed to providing quality clinical care and have a strong entrepreneurial spirit to assist in growing this community program.  Ideal candidate will be comfortable with all aspects of CVT surgery including CABG, valve replacement (aortic and mitral), atrial fib/modified maze procedure and mitral valve repair, vascular surgery, thoracic surgery including video assisted thorocoscopy and benign lung tumor removal, oncologic surgery, great vessel surgery and valve surgery. 

Practice provides a full range of surgical treatment for heart and vascular conditions utilizing the latest in diagnostic and therapeutic tools.  Last year’s diverse case population was 34% open heart, 22% vascular, 17% thoracic and 18% spine.  This established practice boasts the expertise of well-trained and committed staff including a physician assistant and nurse practitioner, along with a strong referral base and excellent working relationships with 475-member medical staff.  Practice will be moving to new medical office building attached to the hospital and implementing an EMR in 2009.
