Interested in Employment at our New Yorkville facility?

Here are answers to some of the most common questions regarding recruitment efforts at this facility.

When will the new Urgent Care Center open?

We are targeting April to May 2008.

What types of jobs will be available at the new Center?

Initially, we anticipate hiring about four to five Registered Nurses, mostly part time positions working 8 or 10 hour shifts during hours of operation 7am to 9pm.  We prefer bilingual nurses who have prior experience in a medical office or urgent care setting. Also, we will hire Clinical Associates who are either trained Certified Nurse Assistants with phlebotomy skills or trained Medical Office Assistants.  Bilingual skills are highly desirable.  Business Associates will also register our patients.  Prior medical office experience, excellent skills in customer service, and bilingual skills (Spanish-English) will be needed.

Approximately eight each of the Clinical Associate and Business Associate positions will be on the Urgent Care team, both full time and part time, 8 or 10 hour shifts.  Other professional, licensed positions in General Radiology, CT Scanning, Mammography, Ultrasound, and MRI will be based out of the Rush-Copley Imaging department and will float to the Urgent Care Center.  Several Medical Technologists will also be hired and work between the main hospital in Aurora and the Yorkville facility.

When will someone be able to apply for the anticipated jobs?

Imaging positions will be posted on the Rush-Copley Medical Center  Web site in February 2008.  All other positions will appear in March 2008.  Applicants will need to apply online for these specific positions in order to be considered for hire.  All applicants will be subject to criminal background testing, customer service testing, and drug screening.
