Stroke Care/Atrial Fibrillation Receiving Anticoagulation

Why is this important?  Patients with uncontrolled Atrial Fibrillation are at high risk for a stroke from blood clots that can form with the irregular heart beats.  The addition of the anticoagulation medication will prevent future blood clots from forming.
