Pneumonia Care/Oxygen Assessment

Percent of patients receiving oxygenation assessment within 24 hours of admission

Why is this important?  Decreased oxygen in the blood is common in pneumonia because spaces in the lungs fill with mucus prohibiting oxygen from entering the bloodstream. Measuring blood oxygen levels helps determine if additional oxygen is needed and providing it can improve outcomes.

How do we compare?   BETTER than the national average.
