Information for Visitors
Rush-Copley welcomes visitors to the hospital. Here's some information that may be helpful.
Information Desk
Rush-Copley staff and volunteers are prepared to answer your questions from our 24-hour information desk located near the Main Entrance.
Visiting Guidelines
Due to the recent outbreak of flu in our community, temporary visitation restrictions are in place to protect the health and safety of our patients and staff.
- No one under the age of 18 unless they are the parent of a patient
- Visitors who have flu-like symptoms should not visit patients
- Only two adult visitors per patient at one time
We appreciate your cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience. Hospitals throughout the area are following these precautions to help stop the spread of cold and flu viruses. Thank you.
Cell Phones
You may use cell phones at Rush-Copley. However, we do ask that you use discretion while discussing private matters concerning a patient in public areas such as waiting rooms. For the best reception, however, we recommend conducting your calls on one of the patios or outside one of the hospital entrances.
No Smoking, Please
Due to the health concerns of our community, patients and staff, smoking is not permitted while at Rush-Copley Medical Center. The entire campus including all entrances and outdoor areas are also smoke free. If you must smoke while accompanying a patient, please smoke only in your vehicle. We appreciate your compliance with our smoke free environment.
