Rush-Copley Designated an ACR Breast Imaging Center of Excellence
(October 7, 2009) Rush-Copley has been designated a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology (ACR). This award from the ACR recognizes breast imaging centers that have earned accreditation in all of the College's voluntary, breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules, in addition to the mandatory Mammography Accreditation Program. In addition to the Breast Imaging Center of Excellence accreditation,
Rush-Copley's breast health program also provides patients with some distinct advantages including convenient appointments at both the hospital's Aurora campus and at Rush-Copley Healthcare Center in Yorkville, as well as same-day results in most cases.
