Movement Disorders Neurology

Established, hospital owned multi-specialty group  seeking our first BC/BE movement disorders neurologist (completion of movement disorder fellowship required).  Looking for an outgoing and dynamic candidate interested in developing a Movement Disorders Program .  The ideal candidate must possess excellent clinical and communication skills with a commitment to providing quality clinical care in both an outpatient and inpatient setting.  Experience in DBS patient selection and botulinum toxin injections preferred, but not required.

Collaborate with a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team of experts including two neurosurgeons  to offer the highest quality patient care, education and latest in medical and surgical treatments.  Rush-Copley’s Movement Disorders Program  currently provides surgical treatments such as deep brain stimulation and intrathecal pharmacotherapy for Parkinson’s, essential tremor, spasmodic torticollis, spasticity (pediatric and adult) and cerebral palsy.  Collaboration with Rush-Copley’s Outpatient Rehabilitation Therapy Center  for assessment and treatment from a qualified team of experts who provide services specific for Parkinson’s and other movement disorders and multi-disciplinary outreach and support groups compliment the program.
