Urodynamic studies are a group of tests that determines how the
nervous system affects the filling and emptying of the bladder. The tests may
be done for a person who has urine leakage or a weak stream when
There is no special preparation for most of these tests. But
one test requires the person to avoid urinating for several hours before the
test is done.
