Satisfying Patients' Needs

To measure patient satisfaction, we constantly survey our patients about all aspects of their experience. Sent at random, the survey addresses all aspects of the patient’s experience while under our care. Through Press Ganey Associates, the healthcare industry leader in measuring patient satisfaction, we are then able to benchmark our findings against other medical facilities in the area to ensure we are providing the highest quality of service and care.

The service you receive determines which survey you may be asked to complete: Inpatient and Emergency Services. Recent results (January through March 2012) are highlighted below.

 

Inpatient Physicians ranked in the top 1% for time spent with their patients, their concern for patient's questions or worries and how well they kept their patients informed on their care and treatment among participating Chicago area hospitals

 

Inpatients rated their overall experience with tests and treatments in the top 8% and the wait time for tests and treatments within the top 1% of participating Chicago area hospitals.

Patients rated the quality of their discharge information in the top 5% of all hospitals within the state of Illinois.
