Rush-Copley Presents Parkinson’s 101 Program

Aurora, IL – (Aurora, IL.) –Rush-Copley invites the community to join Nisha Chhabria, M.D., a movement disorder specialist with the Center for Neurological Diseases, S.C., for an educational program to help patients, their family and friends navigate life with Parkinson’s disease.  This free program will be held on Wednesday, April 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Rush-Copley Heart Institute, 2088 Ogden Avenue in Aurora.

The program, “Parkinson’s 101: What You and Your Family Should Know About Parkinson’s Disease,” was developed by the National Parkinson Foundation and covers a variety of topics including causes, symptoms, and treatments.  Dr. Chhabria will also discuss the types of research being done for Parkinson’s disease.  Whether newly diagnosed or someone who has had Parkinson’s for a long time, this comprehensive program will help to increase your understanding of the condition.
