Rush-Copley Medical Group Welcomes Radiation Oncologists

(Aurora, IL) – Rush-Copley Medical Group is pleased to welcome radiation oncologists Dr. Salitha Reddy, Dr. Sea Chen and Dr. Ying Zhang.

Dr. Salitha Reddy, a board-certified radiation oncologist, is the Director of Radiation Oncology services at the Rush-Copley Cancer Care Center and the Director of Riverwest Radiation Therapy Center.  She received her medical degree from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, India.  She completed an internship at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Chicago and her residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.  Her special practices and procedures include partial breast irradiation, MammoSite, 3-D conformal therapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy, High-Dose Rate Therapy, intracavitary and interstitial gynecologic radioactive implants, interstitial brachytherapy of the prostate gland, Strontium-90 beta eye application and concomitant chemotherapy.  She is a Professor of Therapeutic Radiology at Rush Medical College in Chicago and a professional member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Chicago Medical Society Metropolitan Association of Radiation Therapists.

Dr. Sea Chen, a board-certified radiation oncologist, received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He completed an internship at Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago and a residency in Radiation Oncology at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.  His clinical experience includes Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy, Three-Dimensional Conformal Radiation Therapy, Intracavitary Low-Dose Rate Brachytherapy, MammoSite and XOFT Axxent partial breast irradiation, interstitial and Intracavitary High-Dose Rate Brachytherapy, LDR permanent prostate seed implantation, TomoTherapy, BrainLab Linear Accelerator Based Radiosurgery, Varian Trilogy – image guided radiotherapy, RapidArc and Stereotactic Body Radiotherapy.  He is a professional member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology, Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology, American College of Radiation Oncology, American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American Brachytherapy Society, American Roentgen Ray Society and the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine.

Dr. Ying Zhang, received his medical degree from the Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University in Chicago.  He completed an internship at MacNeal Memorial Hospital of the University of Chicago Hospitals in Berwyn, Illinois, and was the Chief Resident, Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Southern California and Affiliated Hospitals in Los Angeles, California.  He has clinical experience with Eclipse and Pinnacle treatment planning systems, GammaKnife Perfexion and CyberKnife stereotactic radiosurgery systems, High-Dose Rate and Low-Dose Rate gynecological brachytherapy, intensity modulated radiotherapy, image guided radiotherapy – cone beam CT, and prostate fiducials.  He is a professional member of the American Society of Radiation Oncologists, Radiologic Society of North America, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Brachytherapy Society, Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology, American College of Radiology and the American College of Radiation Oncology.
