Parkinson’s Disease Education Series for Newly Diagnosed

(Aurora, Ill) A Parkinson’s disease diagnosis can be overwhelming.  To help individuals who have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s in the last three years, Rush-Copley is pleased to offer a Parkinson’s Disease Education Series.

The more you know about Parkinson’s disease, the better you will be able to cope with it.  Individuals who have been diagnosed with Parkinson’s in the last three years and their spouse or care partner are invited to attend the Parkinson’s Disease Education Series.  This small group, two-part series, is filled with information about what to expect and how to live well with Parkinson’s.  Participants will also have the opportunity to talk to a person who has had the disease for many years.

The first series will be held on Tuesday, February 21 and Tuesday, February 28, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora.  The series will also be available in April and June.  For more information or to register for this free program, visit rushcopley.com or call 866-4COPLEY (1-866-426-7539).
