Discover Treatment Options for Parkinson’s Disease 

(April 6, 2011) Sepehr Sani, M.D., a neurosurgeon at Rush-Copley Medical Center, will present treatment options for Parkinson’s disease at Rush-Copley Heart Institute, 2088 Ogden Avenue, Aurora, on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to Noon.

Various therapies have become more popular for Parkinson’s patients.  Over 75,000 people worldwide have used Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) therapy. This FDA approved non-drug therapy is for controlling some of the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders.  DBS and other treatment options will be discussed at this informational session.
