Rock the Heart
Fox Valley Heart Foundation Hosts Second Annual Fundraiser

(Aurora, IL) Since 2004, the Fox Valley Heart Foundation has been working to raise awareness about cardiovascular health.  To further this mission of educating the community about heart health, the Fox Valley Heart Foundation and Aurora Community Heart Clinic will host “Rock the Heart,” – a fundraiser on Friday, September 30, at Ballydoyle Irish Pub and Restaurant in downtown Aurora.

The celebration will include raffles, wine and cheese tasting, beer and drink specials and a pub scavenger hunt.  Attendees will also be treated to live music from Grand Staff Jazz (jazz), the VanDammes (pop/rock), the Blind Roosevelts (rock/acoustic), Fresh Nuts (rock/alternative), and FLANL (rock).

According to Santosh Gill, M.D., President and founder of the Fox Valley Heart Foundation, “The support for the Rock the Heart fundraiser has been amazing!  It is the type of event that people can get excited about and it is a fun way to get the message out about the great work being done to in our community through the Heart Foundation.”

Rock the Heart will be held from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Ballydoyle Irish Pub and Restaurant, 28 W. New York Street, Aurora.  A donation of $10 per person includes a free raffle ticket and event t-shirt.
