Deepak Patel, M.D., FAAFP, Authors Article for American Family Physician

(February 15, 2011) Deepak Patel, M.D., FAAFP, a Rush-Copley Medical Group physician with Yorkville Primary Care, was the lead author with Neha Kapil, M.D., co-author, of Stress Fractures: Diagnosis, Treatment and Prevention, in the January issue of American Family Physician.

Dr. Patel is a family and sports medicine physician with Yorkville Primary Care, a Rush-Copley Medical group practice.  He also serves as Director of Sports Medicine, Rush-Copley Family Medicine Residency and is an Assistant Professor at Rush Medical College in Chicago.

American Family Physician is a semi-monthly, peer-reviewed journal of the American Academy of Family Physicians.  It is the best-read journal in primary care, and has one of the largest circulations of any clinical medical journal (more than 190,000), including about 100,000 family physicians and general practitioners, 45,000 office-based internists, 10,000 family practice residents, and 20,000 medical students.
