Dima Ruban, M.D., Joins Rush-Copley Medical Group
(Aurora, Ill.) Rush-Copley Medical Group is proud to announce the addition of Dima Ruban, M.D. to Rush-Copley Neurosurgery. He joins Sepehr Sani, M.D., who specializes in removing complex intracranial and skull base tumors as well as Deep Brain Stimulation and neuromodulation for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor and dystonia. With the addition of Dr. Ruban, Rush-Copley Neurosurgery is now able to offer a full range of modern surgical techniques for the brain and the spine.
Dr. Ruban is skilled in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery. These include cervical and lumbar fusions, removal of intradural tumors, treatment of adult spinal deformity, spinal decompression and image-guided spine surgery. He also has extensive training in the removal of benign and malignant intracranial lesions.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, he went on to receive his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Virginia. He completed his internship and neurosurgery residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
Dr. Ruban is a professional member of The North American Spine Society, The Congress of Neurosurgical Surgeons and The American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
