Be Happy, Involved & Positive (BHIP)
An Emotional Health Program for Kids
Growing up in the world today can leave kids scared, confused and unhappy. The Be Happy, Involved & Positive (BHIP) program is designed to provide parents and their children ages 5 to 17 with a safe and secure place to learn about ways to improve their behavior and self-confidence.
This free program, generously funded by Illinois Children’s Healthcare Foundation, starts with a questionnaire that is reviewed by Rush-Copley Family Medicine Center staff. Then, if parent and child are interested, both group education and counseling is offered. To date, over 700 screenings have been provided.
